• Depict the beauty and harmony of the native swamp ecosystem- there’s booming life in our wetlands from birds in the sky to the creatures found just below the water's surface. 

  • Get inspired about the folklore, mythology, or the occult/haunted aspect of swamps.

  • Draw from a political topic: habitat destruction, the history of enslaved people (“maroon” communities for example), colonialism, privatization of land, etc.

We accept all media including, but not limited to: fibers, sculpture, photography, paintings, ceramics, mixed media, collage, etc.
