Detours Exhibition
PROMPTS FOR ARTISTS:
"DETOURS" is especially fitting since construction is affecting the district. The idea is that unexpected routes often lead to the most interesting discoveries. Artists could explore:
Life changes
Wrong turns
Chance encounters
Alternate paths
Happy accidents
It turns the district's biggest obstacle into part of the story.
We accept all media including, but not limited to: fibers, sculpture, photography, paintings, ceramics, mixed media, collage, etc.
ABSOLUTELY NO AI ART IS ALLOWED!
Important Dates
Sept 27th - Deadline to Apply via Application Form
Sept 30th - Artwork Drop-Off at Zeke's NFK (10am-8pm)
Artwork not accepted beyond this date
Oct 1st - Install (10am-Finish)
Oct 16th - DETOURS Opening Night + NEON Nights! (6pm-10pm)
Best in Show and honorable mentions will be announced at 9:30pm!
Nov 1st - Artwork De-Install + Pick-Up (10am-8pm)
